Toy Design graduates bring with them an advanced level of design, a comprehensive knowledge of safety and the production of fun, cost-effective product, a thorough understanding of child development and a strong foundation in business. Our alumni are successful toy designers, and without exception they describe the ease with which they make the transition from school to the professional workplace. Numerous products have been placed on the market by our alumni-some even before graduation. Industry professionals say our graduates are at least two years ahead of other recent hires.

We fully expect our students to have a long-lasting positive impact on the entire toy industry and the children they serve.
In 1999 the Toy Design Department of F.I.T. celebrates its tenth birthday as the first and foremost accredited baccalaureate program in toy design in the world.
